For Anqing Foreign Language School’s graduates from Junior High Section in 2014 and their teachers, 18th August, 2017 was marked in their heart deeply since the graduation ceremony three years ago. All students and teachers silently anticipated the arrival of this special day, which marked the grand reunion in Anqing Foreign Language School.
Here came the day! Teachers arrived at school very early and waited for students, who returned to their Alma Mater with joyfulness in this year’s College Entrance Examination. At the School Lecture Hall of the east campus, teachers and students, who haven’t seen each other since three years ago at the classrooms of the west campus, shared endless talks and expressed their emotions as well.
On the one hand, students experienced changes on the campus, once again reviewed the school anniversary documentary, left notes to Anqing Foreign Language School, presented their best regards& gratitude in addition to recording the brilliant moments in words.
On the other hand, Anqing Foreign Language School presented souvenirs to students. Also, Principal Assistant Ling Qian, teachers Zhu Renge, Hu Chengwen, Hu Sen and Xu Hongqi brought encouragement to students one after another. More noticeably, Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli and Vice Principal Liu Bing arrived at the Lecture Hall. Madam President told students, here, quote, ‘Students, you are supposed to enter university campus soon. You are very welcome to return to your Alma Mater to work when you graduate, which means you shall work with your teachers to renew your teacher-student friendship!’ Hearing this, students were all greatly inspired. At the end of the grand event, led by the teachers, all students got to the Students’ Outdoor Quality Developing Activity Base to experience activities in person.
To sum up, the magnificent event concluded before we knew it. However, teachers and students were unwilling and reluctant to part. Thus, the marvelous event with the title of ‘Reunion at Alma Mater Three Years Later’ enabled students to learn more about gratefulness and presented teachers delight of students’ development, which signaled an affectionate moment in Anqing Foreign Language School’s development history.
